Project Title: The Potential of the UKs Forest and Woodlands as Bioenergy Feedstocks

Background

I graduated from Bangor University in 2010 with a BSc (Hons) in Forestry. It was during the final year of my undergraduate that I first developed an interest in energy generation, and after working in the Financial Sector for 2 years I opted to return to education in 2012, completing an MSc in Sustainable Energy and Environment at Cardiff University.

Research Interests

My main research interests focus around biomass, predominantly the combustion of lignocellulosic feedstocks as an alternative energy source. In addition, my interests extend to the transport sector, having completing my MSc research project on Sustainable Urban Transport Systems.
