Shemaiah's research was within a multidisciplinary team stretching across science, technology, economics, business and policy, working on the design and implementation of low carbon technologies.

Since graduating, Dr Weekes has become a Renewable Energy Consultant, working for a wind energy analysis consultancy, SGURR, in Glasgow.
